Choose a couple of large scale prints. Surround them with three blenders into a 15" courthouse step block, and you're halfway there! You now have all the blocks for the center of the quilt, an all of your border blocks too. For a really fun quilt with virtually no waste, quite a bonus when making your fabric dollar go a little further.
